Second Meeting: October 6, 2010

Our second video conference will take place this Wednesday, October 2, 2010 @ 8am (Kansas time) and 2pm (Mildenhall time).

Our topic will be "American Current Events" & will be led by Free State students.

Our next scheduled video conference is the following Wednesday, October 9, 2010 same time.

That topic will be "British Current Events" led by Mildenhall students.

  3. Great talk today. Those videos really showed how biased american media is today. It is ridiculous that people have to watch multiple news channels to completely understand the story, since most americans are to lazy to do that, it can cause issues when clips are taken out of context.

  5. My question is: why is the media like this? Do they make more money by skewing their stories? Or is using public television to ridicule others just the news-writer's way of feeling superior? Does anyone have other theories?
